Update to 0.8.9-rc2
- A lot of bugfixes and improvements. Please note! Support for project files with version lower than 0.6.4 was dropped, use qtiplot-0.8.7 to open older project files.

Ports changes:
Python support is unstable, so make it optional and switch off by default.
Add desktop entries.

Fix: Patch attached with submission follows:
