Logwatch is a customizable, pluggable log-monitoring system. It will go through your logs for a given period of time and make a report in the areas that you wish with the detail that you wish. WWW: http://www.logwatch.org:81/ Back in 2004, Michael Ranner <mranner@inode.at> attempted to add Logwatch to the ports tree at version 5.2.2 with PR ports/74996 (http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=74996&cat=ports), but the PR was allowed ot "time out" and has been closed since March of 2005. I would like to try to re-open this issue and get Logwatch into the FreeBSD ports tree at version 7.3.6.
Responsible Changed From-To: freebsd-ports-bugs->sat Grab.
Responsible Changed From-To: sat->freebsd-ports-bugs Ungrab. Ugh. I'd advise looking at Portage and the Debian package and trying to get the port a bit closer to them. Sorry for giving up on this one.
State Changed From-To: open->closed New port added, thanks!
