tftp-hpa is an enhanced version of the BSD TFTP client and server.
It possesses a number of bugfixes and enhancements over the original.
It has been made portable and will work on pretty much any modern
Unix variant.

Why is net/tftp-hpa included in the ports tree when we have ftp/tftp-hpa?
For me they seem to be mostly the same, even the distinfo, where main difference is the comments and descriptions?
I'd guess this two ports should somewhat be merged - and not duplicated, as they for me seems to be?

I'm sorry if this isn't the proper way to comment this, feel free to forward my request to where it would belong if so.

Maybe, very maybe, it can be considered an honest mistake of somebody
instead of turning it into a witchhunt.
