Description Hannes Hauswedell 2008-12-31 21:50:03 UTC
KPorts is Qt-based frontend to the FreeBSD-Ports.
Support for the OpenBSD-Ports and PkgSrc is planned for a future release.

It is designed to make managing your applications easier and more pleasent.

This is the Port based on the new Qt4-only codebase. You cannot use this to
actually install and remove packages. If you need that use the version based
on KDE3: ports-mgmt/kports.

Comment 3 Hannes Hauswedell 2009-01-21 20:03:53 UTC
This new Port is also affected by ports/130502.

Please do not commit this yet. I will release 0.8.1 sometime soon (and upload
a new shar) which fixes the issue.

Thanks!
Hannes

Comment 5 Hannes Hauswedell 2009-04-02 00:18:01 UTC
I have updated KPorts to 0.8.1 and created a new shar that should solve the
whole kdesu-issue, by wanting kdebase-runtime.

I hope I got everything else right!

If this made it in before Portsfreeze it would be awesome, but I know that you
guys are busy...

Thanks,
Hannes
