When I am trying compile sample profile: docsis -e docsis1.0_filters2_oidnum.cfg keyfile outputfile I get many errors like docsis: warning: TLV64 (length > 255) not allowed in DOCSIS config files , when SNMP OID is Integer. And result profile file is corrupt

Dear maintainer of net-mgmt/docsis, a problem report has been submitted for your port for which your feedback might be required; its contents can be found at [1]. Regards, Stefan [1]: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=ports/140303
Responsible Changed From-To: freebsd-ports-bugs->stefan Track this for now.
The upstream project for this port has been stalled since 2006, and does not support amd64. There is a user contributed patch set on the SF.net tracker[1] for amd64. [1] http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2779880&group_id=22615&atid=375631 (Parts of) the above patch should be adapted for/tested on fbsd/amd64. I'm not able to do that right now though. -James On Mon, May 17, 2010 at 05:45, Stefan Walter <stefan@freebsd.org> wrote: > Dear maintainer of net-mgmt/docsis, > > a problem report has been submitted for your port for which your > feedback might be required; its contents can be found at [1].
