He doesn't make proper releases. His "releases" are just his current snapshot and may contain bugs and/or regressions. Often a "release" is re-rolled if issues are brought to his attention and he feels few enough people have downloaded it!! Other times a "release" is very quickly followed by another "release" with a new version number. You may want to subscribe to the assp-test mailing list. Only consider a port-update if the discussion suggests a "release" may actually be stable. You may also want to email him when you're doing a port update, to specifically ask that he not re-roll that particular dist file any more. But anyway, thanks for taking it over for a while. -jr

The upgrade still isn't pretty so I will work on that as I have time but it's working as well as it does now. Rusty
