Hi Pav, Rusty,

Rusty, as I mentioned in my reply to you the other day, I've not been
able to make the time to get to this for a while. So thanks for doing
the update.

Would you be willing to take over maintainership of this port for a
while, please?

If so, please also update the MAINTAINER line, too.

Thanks,
	-jr

JR,

Sure, I'll take over maintainership of this port as well. I also need
to submit a new diff as it looks like he re-rolled the zip file again as
the size changed.

Ah - he's still doing that, too. I've asked him several times
to not do that. He doesn't make proper releases. His "releases"
are just his current snapshot and may contain bugs and/or
regressions. Often a "release" is re-rolled if issues are brought
to his attention and he feels few enough people have downloaded it!!
Other times a "release" is very quickly followed by another "release"
with a new version number.

You may want to subscribe to the assp-test mailing list. Only
consider a port-update if the discussion suggests a "release" may
actually be stable. You may also want to email him when you're doing
a port update, to specifically ask that he not re-roll that particular
dist file any more.

But anyway, thanks for taking it over for a while.

FWIW, the ASSP web site:
	http://assp.sourceforge.net/
still lists version 1.7.1.3 as the latest "release".

Which is funny because the download site has 1.7.5.7 as the top
download:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/assp/files/

Anyways, here's the updated patch that fixed the distinfo file as well
as the depency on p5-IO-Sockets-INET6. The upgrade still isn't pretty
so I will work on that as I have time but it's working as well as it
does now.

I think you forgot to update pkg-plist.

Two sausages are in a frying pan. One says, "Geez, it's hot in here
isn't it?" And the other one says, "Aaaaaah! A talking sausage!"

You're right but I didn't think there were any different files. I'll
go through and check it out later and send in another diff if I find
anything.

Pav,

My apologies for any disconnect as I had thought I sent it but here's a
diff I just generated and have confirmed it installs and deinstalls
cleanly.

Can you do it once again, with -R flag?

Common subdirectories: assp/files and assp.new/files

Sure! I used the -r flag though.
