Running "logrotate -d" on the sample configuration file produces the following: --cut-- /usr/local/etc/logrotate.conf.sample: 9: the errors directive is deprecated and no longer used. error: /usr/local/etc/logrotate.conf.sample:9 unexpected text --cut-- Fix: The following lines should be removed from "logrotate.conf.sample": --cut-- # send errors to root errors root --cut- How-To-Repeat: - Install sysutils/logrotate port - Execute "logrotate -d /usr/local/etc/logrotate.conf
