Please check in the attached patch.
Additionally, please delete the patch files/patch-malloc_hook_mmap_freebsd.h -- it has been incorporated into upstream.

Two testcases are still failing as mentioned in Makefile, failures don't seem to be dangerous.

Committed as SVN r359279.

Please check if we can strip the .so files in the next update to the port (${STRIP_CMD} would do, try "make DEVELOPER=yes check-plist"), or add a comment to the Makefile that the .so files should not be stripped. Thank you.
