Committed! With minor changes:

I had to add back some patches to make it compile on 9.3 which is a supported OS version till the end of the year. Please test on all supported OS version if possible.

If you are really unable to make a port work on a supported OS version you should use a conditional IGNORE line with the actual reason to signal it to users and build machines, otherwise errors will be generated and reported.
