HTML version of trafshow man page on FreeBSD site https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=trafshow&apropos=0&sektion=0&format=html shows old net/trafshow3 port man page instead net/trafshow. If chosen man version is right up to 9.2-RELEASE (https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=trafshow&apropos=0&sektion=0&manpath=FreeBSD+9.2-RELEASE+and+Ports&arch=default&format=html) it shows correct man page. But since 9.3-RELEASE it isn't correct.
wosch, any thoughts?
Looking at the packages https://pkg.freebsd.org/FreeBSD:11:amd64/release_0/All/ I see 2 trafshow packages, https://pkg.freebsd.org/FreeBSD:11:amd64/release_0/All/trafshow-5.2.3_2,1.txz https://pkg.freebsd.org/FreeBSD:11:amd64/release_0/All/trafshow3-3.1_7,1.txz which contains the same manpage file "trafshow.1.gz". Apparently, the older trafshow3 won when I update man.cgi. I think the correct solution is that trafshow3 should rename the manpage to avoid a clash, e.g. /usr/local/man/man1/trafshow.1.gz to /usr/local/man/man1/trafshow3.1.gz
There is no maintainer for trafshow3 ATM. Shall we just add ports@FreeBSD.org to CC or shall I write there directly? Or maybe it is worth to create a patch?
Creating a patch is probably helpful, yes.
