I'm the maintainer of editors/joe2. It was created after the joe 3.x fork when 3.x still has some rough edges. There is no longer any reason that I'm aware of to use joe2 over the current releases. It's now abandoned and editors/joe is fully backwards compatible with editors/joe2.

I'm requesting that editors/joe2 be deleted and a MOVED entry get added to point at editors/joe.
