Hi! I have completely forgotten I am the maintainer of this port, up to the where I have missed the last few update windows. There's a bitrot-fixing update (0.42) pending now, and I don't really have a platform (or a use case) to test this anymore as I don't have a running FreeBSD system at home. I hope someone else can pick it up. I'm one of the co-maintainer of the Debian (and upstream) side of things now so I'd still be happy to help if there are any questions. If its possible for you to ack the feedback flag on the bugzilla account with the kounbit email, it will help us process this change more quickly. We can also merge the accounts if you like as well (once ack'ed) so you can retain the histories of both.

@Tobias I can't see a commit to security/monkeysphere resetting maintainer, which is what's being requested here

Ah, freshports.org is out of date too (still is) and didn't show the update. I should have checked svn log. I see a weird character at the end of the PR: line, I bet that's what caused it.
