Abandoned upstream? No mention of it on website except for the release back in 2012 and website link returns 404

Yes. I kept it alive on request, but it is time to let it go.

We should also adapt MOVED.

I didn't include MOVED because that would most likely cause the patch not to apply as it's freqeuently edited.
