Description Pav Lucistnik 2003-08-04 22:30:12 UTC
misc category now holds 397 ports. here are just some ideas about few ports
i do use, and which could be better in other port categories.
marcus promised to look after this PR.

Fix:

misc/bb -> games/bb
misc/cpuid -> sysutils/cpuid
misc/fortune* -> games/fortune
misc/gnomeutils2 -> deskutils/gnomeutils2
misc/gucharmap -> desktuils/gucharmap
misc/help2man -> textproc/help2man
misc/portell -> sysutils/portell
misc/porteasy -> sysutils/porteasy
misc/stickynotes_applet -> deskutils/stickynotes_applet

and some ports i don't use

misc/floatator -> science/floatator
misc/icemc -> x11-wm/icemc (like x11-wm/fluxconf)
misc/libutf -> converters/libutf (like converters/libutf-8)
misc/kdeutils3 -> deskutils/kdeutils3
misc/xdf -> sysutils/xdf (like sysutils/di)
misc/xtar -> archivers/xtar (rest of tar family there)

Close this. It's probably not worth the hassle.
I was fearing it for too long now.
