Description Jonathan 2003-10-05 06:30:13 UTC
Ksirc will double paste when pasting into it's text window.

Fix:

I, unfortunately don't have a fix.
How-To-Repeat:
copy a URL and paste it into Ksirc. The URL will be pasted twice.

Cannot reproduce with KDE 3.1.4. Does this still happen to you?

Cannot reproduce.
Comment 4 Andy Fawcett 2003-10-07 06:45:26 UTC
I can confirm this to still be a problem with 3.1.4
Comment 5 Michael Nottebrock 2003-10-07 17:55:21 UTC
It's actually another QT 3.2 related problem. With a QT 3.2-compiled ksirc, a
middle-button paste into the input field of ksirc works like this:

Depress Middlemousebutton: Text is pasted
Release Middlemousebutton: Text pasted again

While with a QT 3.1-compiled ksirc it's like that:

Depress Middlemousebutton: Text pasted
Release Middelmousebutton: Nothing happens

Fixed upstream and patched in the ports. Thanks for
reporting!
