Description Taylor Dondich 2004-01-05 22:30:14 UTC
	Port update from 1-branch to new 2.1 release.

Fix: PORTNAME=      tentakel
-PORTVERSION=   0.3.1
+PORTVERSION=   2.1
 CATEGORIES=    sysutils
 MASTER_SITES=  ${MASTER_SITE_SOURCEFORGE} \

 EXTRACT_SUFX=  .tgz

 MAINTAINER=    tdondich@majiknetworks.com
-COMMENT= sh script to execute commands on parallel hosts via ssh/rsh
+COMMENT= A program for executing commands on many hosts in parallel

-NO_BUILD=      yes
 MAN1=          tentakel.1

 .include <bsd.port.mk>
-Tentakel tries to be as portable as possible - it uses plain bourne
-shell code. It is also rather self-contained. Except the few external
-programs it makes use of it should need almost no configuration or
-setup on your system.
+It also supports an interactive mode that can be used for
+repeated commands.

State Changed
From-To: open->closed

Committed after heavy modification, thanks!

Just to let you know
- don't change date and author in Makefile header, first author is credited there
- don't clean $FreeBSD$ CVS tag in Makefile
- you missed dependency on python
- use %%PYTHON_SITELIBDIR%% in pkg-plist because different versions of python
use different paths
- don't remove share/nls directories, they're part of hier

Looks like now tentakel use python?
What do think about add USE_PYTHON=\t2.2 or USE_PYTHON=\tyes
into Makefile?

Please use %%DOCSDIR%% instead of share/doc/${PORTNAME}
Also, does it possible do not install docs?
