Description jonny 1998-06-14 03:30:00 UTC
The mrouted that comes with FreeBSD 2.2 is compatible with version
3.8, which has a serious prunning bug. The mrouted program could
be upgraded, but since 3.9 is still beta, maybe it's not recommended
yet. As a workaround while it is not updated, I created this port.
It's useful for those people who suffer the bug, like me.

Fix: The port's subdir is at the end. To make transition easier,
the following patches are needed also in /etc/rc.network and
      /etc/rc.conf (please, don't forget -stable):
How-To-Repeat:
Create a multicast network with tunnel loops for redundancy. :)

Oops. Cut&Paste too fast.

+named_program="" # mrouted program, in case we want 3.9beta instead.

Obviously, I did not intend to write named. :^)
