Since the change in OCaml 3.08, ulex 0.4 doesn't even build.

The new version (0.5) follows the change of OCaml.

Since maintainer is set to ports@. I should assume maintaining that port.

How-To-Repeat: 

cd $PORTSDIR/devel/ocaml-ulex && make all

Remark: pkg-install is not automatically run during port 
build, and you have to call it explicitely.
