Description jose 1998-06-25 20:20:01 UTC
Running "pppd" non-root brings up the message that pppd is not setuid
        root

Fix:

Make "pppd" setuid root again? Perhaps the install script is broken?
Sorry, I'm not a good enough Unix person to know.
How-To-Repeat:
Type "pppd" as any user that isn't root

I'm not aware of any good reasons to make pppd suid root. Though it has
been written with this in mind I don't think if offers any advantages
over the potential security problems.
