Please repycopy/repomove lang/gcc35 to lang/gcc40. The next upstream release of GCC has been renamed from 3.5 to 4.0. Since our gcc35 port has been marked BROKEN ever since it has been updated, we should just rename it to gcc40 (or repocopy it to gcc40 and remove gcc35). I (gerald@) am the maintainer of this port. Fix: Repocopy lang/gcc35 to lang/gcc40.

I think we should just 'cvs rm' lang/gcc35 and repo copy lang/gcc34 to lang/gcc40. There isn't any real gcc35 history yet (as mentioned above), and GCC 4.0 logically follows GCC 3.4, so I think doing the repo copy this way is more logical. It also makes the tags cleaner.

Gerald, any comment on obrien's idea of copying gcc34 to gcc40? Joe -- Joe Marcus Clarke FreeBSD GNOME Team :: gnome@FreeBSD.org FreeNode / #freebsd-gnome http://www.FreeBSD.org/gnome

State Changed From-To: repocopy->open Repo-copy completed.
Responsible Changed From-To: portmgr->gerald Repo-copy completed.
State Changed From-To: open->closed Port updated, and lang/Makefile as well as CVSROOT/modules adjusted. obrien was so kind and helped by removing the gcc35 port.
