print/teTeX-base fails to package correctly because pkg-plist is incorrect. It contains %%TEXMFVAR%%/web2c/lambda.oft which does not exist after an install on a clean machine. I do have lambda.log in /usr/local/share/texmf-var/web2c, which contains %%% ================================= Applying patch file ltpatch.ltx ================================= (/usr/local/share/texmf/omega/lambda/omegabook/ltpatch.ltx) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !! Patch file `ltpatch.ltx' (for version <2001/06/01>) !! is not suitable for version <2003/12/01> of LaTeX. !! Please check if initex found an old patch file: !! --- if so, rename it or delete it, and redo the !! initex run. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (\end occurred when \ifx on line 7961 was incomplete) Here is how much of Omega's memory you used: %%% Maybe this explains the absence of the file? I'm by no means a TeX guru... Fix: fix the build to correctly create the file? I worked around the problem by commenting out lamba.oft in pkg-plist but I suspect I'm missing functionality in web2c (which I don't use myself so that's not a problem). How-To-Repeat: cd /usr/ports/print/teTeX-base && make package
