Description Mark Kane 2005-08-30 04:30:16 UTC
streamTranscoder takes the output from SHOUTcast/Icecast/Peercast/KasterBlaster servers or a soundcard input and transcodes them to another SHOUTcast, Icecast, or Peercast server in mp3 or Ogg Vorbis format. It can transcode the input audio by resampling or re-encoding, as well as changing the format from mp3 to Ogg Vorbis (or vice versa).

Version 1.2.8 is available on the web site. Could you please provide an update
(and, while here, convert spaces to tabs)?
Comment 3 Mark Kane 2005-08-31 02:28:56 UTC
I did not port 1.2.8 because it has issues compiling properly. I have
tried extensively to get it to compile but it always has errors. I read
on the project's message boards that he doesn't have the time to support
FreeBSD anymore, so I thought I would port something that has worked for
me very good.

As for the spacing, which part are you referring to? If you mean the
first line of the CONFIGURE_ARGS, I used tab for that and it showed up
right in my text editor, but got pushed over when submitting it.

Thanks.

Committed with a few modifications, thanks!

Notes:
- I have used version 1.2.8.
- I'm referring to spacing between variable names and values, as well as
spacing in the Makefile header. You should file PRs using send-pr(1)
rather than the web interface, as the latter mangles tabs and spacing.
