Unfortunately this patchset no longer applies to the port version 0.2.4.1.
I attempted to make it work by applying the bits piecemeal but in the end

mt-daapd-0.2.4-cp932.patch fails to apply clean.

So, please close as incomplete or cannot fix.

Thanks and sorry.

Mark, what do you think about the patch filed on January 31?

I'm accepting the patch but resubmitting (attached) with minor
modifications. Please commit ASAP.
Thanks again for patience, etc.

Also note that another patch is forthcoming due to security issue with
0.2.4.1.

mt-daapd version 0.2.4.2 released

Small bug fixes for port order on mdns advertisement on intel macs, playlists based on bitrate. Primarly, though, this release is to apply fix for CVE-2008-1771.

* Patch for CVE-2008-1771 courtesy of Nico Golde and Debian security team
* Fix for wrong-endian port advertisement on intel macs
* Fix for playlists based on bitrate

Mark, you're okay with this new patch?

I can't do that, that would make sense.

Well there is now some confusion. Either way will work.
Either apply this new patch and close 123284 as well, or apply my patch
and then the one in 123284. The end result is the same (that we get
mt-daapd to version 0.2.4.2)
Thanks.

Right, haven't seen ports/123284. Will do.

It's the classic Microsoft security-bulletin formula: "The vulnerability
is important (never dangerous); you have nothing to fear and no reason
to regret trusting us; we have no intention of apologizing for it or
even explaining it adequately; now go get your patch, shut up, and be
grateful nothing bad has happened. -- The Register
