Description Carlos Santos 2010-01-24 23:50:03 UTC
I'm an HP employee, working at the Research and Development Lab, in Porto
Alegre, Brazil. We are currently developing a product for the embedded
market, using BSNMP to monitor the status of printers over the network.

As part of the work to adapt BSNMP for our needs we made several enhancements
and bug fixes that we would like to contribute back to FreeBSD. We submitted
an official request, internally, and finally obtained clearance from
Hewlett-Packard Development Company (HPDC) to release the code.

I discussed the subject with Harti Brandt and Shteryana Sopova and we decided that the contribution will be made via the perforce SCM. Meanwhile, I will take the maintenance of the bsnmptools port, in order to keep it up-to-date with the newer releases.

The port is yours now. But there is a portlint error in it, would you
fix it ?
