The home directory of user amanda is set to /nonexistent but the client looks for the .amandahosts file in that users $HOME. # grep amanda /usr/ports/UIDs amanda:*:140:140::0:0:Amanda Daemon:/nonexistent:/usr/sbin/nologin amandad/amandad.20110328093346.debug:ERROR user operator from backup.glz.hidden-powers.com is not allowed to execute the service noop: cannot open /nonexistent/.amandahosts: No such file or directory Fix: Change home to / or some other existing directory. How-To-Repeat: Install misc/amanda-client on a host with BSD security enabled and try to do a backup.
