Attached patch updates lyx-devel to v2.0.0 I want to request recopy lyx-devel to lyx2 and to remove lyx-devel I'd like to pass maintainership to someone else (possibly Raphael Kubo da Costa <kubito@gmail.com>) Fix: Patch attached with submission follows:
Responsible Changed From-To: freebsd-ports-bugs->makc I'll take it.
State Changed From-To: open->feedback Is there a reason to have both lyx-1.6 and lyx-2 in ports? I'd update print/lyx to 2.0 and removed lyx-devel.

I do my TeXing in Vim. v1.6 is still supported by upstream, so we could keep it for a while. I don't know how stable v2.0 is. Current lyx-devel (before this patch) has this problem: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=ports/156034 It looks like it's fixed in v2.0 release, but I'm not 100% sure. At least it looked like it was working fine, when I tested it. On the side note: Why do we have print/lyx14 ? -- Aldis Berjoza http://www.bsdroot.lv/

I see 1.6.10 was released after 2.0 and lyx developers recommend to keep 1.6 for a while. Since 1.6.10 is a final in 1.6 series I propose to copy print/lyx to print/lyx16 and update print/lyx to 2.0. > Current lyx-devel (before this patch) has this problem: > http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=ports/156034 > > It looks like it's fixed in v2.0 release, but I'm not 100% sure. In this case patch should be adjusted (removing PKGNAMESUFFIX line probably will be enough) -- Aldis Berjoza http://www.bsdroot.lv/
