graphics/gmt referes to version 3.4.1, which seems quite antuque and hopeless outdated. For two years now, I use my "private" port refereing to the more modern GMT 4.X release tree and it works quite well for me and colleagues on FreeBSD. GMT is a valuable postscript and geodetic toolset worth having in the scientific community. It seems FreeBSD is fainting away more and more from the science community due to the lack of maintainers, users and developers originating from the scientific community. I try to add the graphics/gmt4 port as a tarball. Fix: Patch attached with submission follows:
