As of now, math/lp_solve building is marked as broken when building for the powerpc architecture as it does not install. Using a macbook g4, I was able to build and install lp_solve if I removed the "broken" flag and added a section in the ${ARCH} selection block like that : .if ${ARCH} == "i386" || ${ARCH} == "powerpc" LPSOLVE_ARCH= ux32 .else LPSOLVE_ARCH= ux64 .endif No problem were seen : the executable seems to run fine. Fix: Set the LPSOVE_ARCH as ux32, see patch attached. Patch attached with submission follows: How-To-Repeat: Try to make then make install math/lp_solve, there will be a complain about no ux64 directory found.
