Created attachment 162176 [details] patch When I created the security/broccoli port I gave it the version number of the bro distribution it was packaged with. In retrospect, this was a mistake. We want to track the version of broccoli packaged with bro but the port should reflect the broccoli version number. This PR upgrades broccoli from the version that was packaged with bro 2.3.2 (1.96) to the version that is packaged with bro 2.4.1 (1.97) and changed the port to use the broccoli version number.

A commit references this bug: Author: riggs Date: Fri Oct 23 18:12:27 UTC 2015 New revision: 400046 URL: https://svnweb.freebsd.org/changeset/ports/400046 Log: Adopt broccoli version numbering, update to 1.97 The gist from maintainer's explanation of the situation: Upon creation of the port, the version number of the bro distribution broccoli was packaged with was used. But it makes more sense to use broccoli's actual version number.
