Created attachment 162743 [details] patch Attached is a patch, and koobs asked to rename it to the PyPI compliant name py-git-up, when I first committed the port. Now it's time to upgrade and also rename the port, if the maintainer approves. Note to koobs: Is there any mention of the PyPI/portname coupling in the ports handbook ?
Maintainer feedback: "+". But I remember we discussed that with Koobs, and he told me py-pygitup is ok. The point is that the original "git up" was developed in Ruby. However, in FreeBSD, we actually have PKGNAMEPREFIX, so that's also fine, I guess.
