BuildStream (https://gitlab.com/BuildStream/buildstream) is the tool used by GNOME release team to build and test the entire GNOME desktop. Although BuildStream currently doesn't work on FreeBSD and it will not be added to FreeBSD ports because it changes quickly, it is still useful for people working on BuildStream fixes and testing GNOME.
