Upstream hasn't been touched in years and upstream also recommends moving to shadowsocks-rust so I guess this can be sunset by now?

Well it's OK to move to net/shadowsocks-rust.

Please help add following line to ports/MOVED

net/shadowsocks-libev|net/shadowsocks-rust|2024-11-03|No active development, upstream suggests net/shadowsocks-rust instead
