I have created a patch that can be applied to provide IPv6 support for sysutils/socket utility. The patch imported from NetBSD and cleaned up to be cleanly work on FreeBSD. How-To-Repeat: Apply this diff.

Mmm.. should this really be handled as a patch to the port? :) Seeing as the port maintainer - Wolfram Schneider, wosch@FreeBSD.org - seems to actually be the author of this software (the MASTER_SITES point to a directory named 'src' in his home directory..), maybe Wolfram should integrate this into a next version, so it comes with IPv6 support right out-of-the-box?
