freetype2-2.1.0 was installed and I tried to install pango-1.0.1 (a dependency from gnome2) there was a problem in usr/ports/x11-toolkits/pango/work/pango-1.0.1/pango/opentype/ the files(ie. ftxopen.c) are using functions from freetype/internal/ that exist in freetype2-2.0.9 but not in freetype2-2.1.0 (ie. ACCESS_Frame(), GET_UShort()) (I am sorry, that I don't have the exact make-output) Fix: deinstall freetype2-2.1.0 and install freetype2-2.0.9 actualy, I had luck, I had another ports-tree still with the freetype2-2.0.9 patches I don't know, how hard it is, to install it without them.... How-To-Repeat: type make in usr/ports/x11-toolkits/pango/ with freetype2-2.1.0 installed !
