This is a new port of libmal, which encapsulates malsync 2.1 into a shared library. This library will be needed by the KDE ports in the future. This library contains a copy of code from malsync 2.1. I don't know if the malsync and libmal authors are cooperating to be able to produce one package. malsync and libmal don't stomp on one another: malsync installs just a binary while libmal installs headers and a library.
Several loose ends in the port: 1) The license is MPL (Mozilla Public License) just like malsync. 2) The port depends on pilot-link. 3) The port installs a .la file as well, but that may be a libtool cq.=20 USE_LIBTOOL problem instead. --=20 Work: http://www.cs.kun.nl/~adridg/frescos/ Play: http://freebsd.kde.org/ http://slac.com/~pilone/kpilot_home/
