Description Larry Rosenman freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2002-09-30 18:00:11 UTC
When compiling ports/palm/coldsync, the USB support is NOT enabled, even
though it looks like we try to enable it.

It looks as though the REINPLACE stuff doesn't do the right thing.

Fix:

Fix REINPLACE commands appropriately.

The following is from David Desrossier (setuid on #pilot-link @
irc.pilot-link.org), trying to get coldsync to work.

(15:04:11) setuid: perl -pi.orig -e 's/udi./udi.udi_/g'
libpconn/PConnection_usb.c
(15:04:33) setuid: perl -pi.orig -e 's/ur../ur.ucr_/g'
libpconn/PConnection_usb.c

Can the maintainer look at the patch in the Makefile and fix it to work?

State Changed
From-To: open->closed

Fix committed. The package detects USB and compiles. Its useability
remains questionable, though, especially, on -current.
