Description Orlando Bassotto 2003-11-18 04:50:12 UTC
VMware3 does not build on -CURRENT because of removal of some machine
dependant headers and changes to the SMP code in the kernel.

Fix:

Patches are ready for the headers issue and the software runs
smoothly on -CURRENT on a UP system. SMP support is not working.
Patch for fixing the first issue is at
  http://bag.ieo-research.it/~nextie/vmware3/
SMP support is broken until further updates.
Since I am not a committer I can't commit the patch. Thanks!
How-To-Repeat: make in the vmware3 port directory with a fresh -CURRENT
