Just because it's toooo big. Tarball with documentation is more than source tarball about three time! Resulted plist file is more than 1.2 Megabytes. ACE+TAO is not small itself. If combine them together resulted port maintain will be nightmare. --- Sem.
There is another reason too. May be more weighty than my unconvenience. ACE+TAO development team release documentation as separate stuff. And not always (really almost never) the last documentation version number equal with the last released library version. (It's resonable if we'll remeber documentation size and if release is most (or only) bugfix release). --- Sem.
