Nice. Is there a way we can get libarchive too?

My e-mail in the sender field was wrong, it is martin@tradex.sk.

libarchive is already in the ports tree, see archivers/libarchive, or check in CVS:
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/archivers/libarchive/

Note that it doesn't build on 4.x:
write.c:95: syntax error before `id_t'
write.c:110: syntax error before `id_t'
write.c:110: warning: function declaration isn't a prototype

So we need to have id_t in sys/types.h
