Fix: This has been tested on FreeBSD 4.10-Stable, but I was not able to try it out on FreeBSD-5.x. The Porters handbook said that if the Makefile has RESTRICTED set then it was not necessary to set NO_CDROM or NO_PACKAGE. However, without NO_PACKAGE, make package still worked for me. The "RESTRICTED" setting may be too restrictive for the license, but I am not a lawyer and so I thought I should be better safe than sorry.
I realise that the web page I encloded in my "download" message isn't quite right - could you change it to: Because of licensing restrictions, you must fetch the source distribution\n\ manually. Please access\n\ http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Development/Download/download.cgi?PackageName=VMD\n\ with a web browser. After selecting to download the source code of version ${PORTVERSION}, you will be required to log in and register,\n\ but you can create an account on this page. After registration and\n\ accepting the University of Illinois agreement, download the source file,\n\ ${DISTFILES}. Please place this file in ${DISTDIR}.\n http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Development/Download/download.cgi?PackageName=VMD
State Changed From-To: open->closed New port added, thank you!
