- utilize DOCSDIR - prepare for slave ports Generated with FreeBSD Port Tools 0.63
Responsible Changed From-To: freebsd-ports-bugs->DougB Over to the maintainer.
State Changed From-To: open->feedback I'm curious about the changes you propose. What slave port(s) do you have in mind? And what is the use of churning the repo for the DOCSDIR change? I agree that it's a useful tool, I'm just not sure why we would want to make the change in the absence of any planned benefit. Thanks,

chinese/bind8 depends on dns/bind8 now. It will be easier for maintainers to generate pkg-plist accordingly by using PORTDOCS and DOCSDIR when users want to install documents in non-default DOCSDIR, or even don't want documents at all. http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/porters-handbook/dads-documentation.html -- Yen-Ming Lee [utf7:+Z05fZWYO] | KeyID:0x5EB52E51 | Taipei, Taiwan
