Description giffunip 2005-03-04 01:30:20 UTC
GiD is a scientific Pre- and Post processor developed by Catalunya's CIMNE. It is mostly used as an excellent mesher for Finite Element Programs.
I ported the latest statically linked beta version available. It has some more features that the latest release and seems to be very stable.

Fix: uuencoded tarball follows
How-To-Repeat: The educational version has limited number of nodes and can be upgraded to the professional version by buying a license. The Educational version can be freely downloaded and used but just to make sure I asked the authors and Enrique Escolano answered that they would have no objection if GiD were distributed in FreeBSD's CD-ROMs.
