 Cronolog currently runs as root, and provides no means of switching to
 another UID/GID while running. There is no loss of functionality running
 as an unprivileged user.

 There is a patch on the official site to add setuid functionality; It  
 would be useful if it could be added to the port, at least as an
 optional extra.
 
 Maintainer has been CC'ed.
