Compiliaton requires perl XML::Parser which apparently was not available. Used CPAN to install XML::Parser and am now able to compile and install mate-icon-theme. This problem can be closed. It might be a good idea to check for XML::Parser in the make process (ie; BUILD-DEPENDS). I am not able to reproduce the issue with a clean install and poudriere. As mentioned earlier, my problem was a required but non-existent Perl XML::Parser package which was not detected. As suggested, an inclusion for this in the BUILD-DEPENDS list might detect this. I have solved my problem as mentioned earlier. Consideration for the above should be reviewed. |
Created attachment 229563 [details] failed make install log v1.26.0 cannot be installed as there appear to be numerous missing files after compilation (make).
