Correcting my earlier comment, xtrans will be enabled by default, in the patched port. The patch summary is then inaccurate to that feature of the patch Main patch, x11/cinnamon: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=267250 |
Created attachment 237506 [details] x11/cinnamon-session intial update to 5.4.0 (no xtrans in build) cinnamon-session is now available in a release 5.4.0 The attached diff updates the port for this newer release. Additional changes: - Updating meson args (no gconf option, disabling xtrans by default, not tested otherwise) - Removing the docs option - no longer supported in upstream - Adding an option for enabling verbose logging from cinnamon-session (enabled by default, for consistency with earlier port behaviors) Candidly, I should probably reconsider the xtrans option. It could probably be enabled by default, with an additional dependency on x11/xtrans. At the time of the patch, it may have seemed more expedient to simply disable the feature. This patch would correspond to a patch to be published shortly, for x11/cinnamon and other ports from linuxmint in updating to a 5.4 series release
