This doesn't following the instructions on how to submit a new port, specifically it needs to be delivered as a "shar" file: https://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/porters-handbook/porting-submitting.html However, since you provided a stage-qa poudriere testlog, I'm going to give you extra-credit and go ahead and promote the PR anyway. In the future, please following the instructions outline in the link above. Currently they say "shar" is the only option.
Thanks, and sorry about the diff for the new port. I didn't realize this mattered that much.
A commit references this bug: Author: riggs Date: Sun Feb 8 19:17:25 UTC 2015 New revision: 378675 URL: https://svnweb.freebsd.org/changeset/ports/378675 Log: Initial import of anamnesis A clipboard manager allowing to keep history and search through it PR: 195804 Submitted by: yuri@rawbw.com (maintainer) Changes: head/deskutils/Makefile head/deskutils/anamnesis/ head/deskutils/anamnesis/Makefile head/deskutils/anamnesis/distinfo head/deskutils/anamnesis/pkg-descr head/deskutils/anamnesis/pkg-plist
Maybe we are too harsh about the shar thing. Personally, I don't mind new submissions sent as a diff and would not consider it a reason to refuse a new port; especially if it apparent that the submitter knows what (s)he is doing. @yuri: Nothing serious, but pkg comments that there are no arch dependent files in this port: ... ===> Registering installation for anamnesis-1.0.4 pkg-static: DEVELOPER_MODE: Notice: arch "FreeBSD:10:amd64" -- no architecture specific files found: **** could this package use a wildcard architecture? ... Just a reminder to check whether NO_ARCH=yes makes sense for the next update. Best regards
