	Besides  what's listed  in  Synopsis (and  fixed by  the
	patches supplied), the port has another major flaw -- it
	builds its  own (very outdated) versions  of libtiff and
	libjpeg... Some day, I'll submit a fix for that too...

Fix: Add the following to the set of patches (as patch-6, I guess):

Apply the following to the port's Makefile
