A description of how Kobj works and how to use it for the FreeBSD Developers' Handbook. Kept forgeting how FreeBSD's Kobj framework differed from my local revisions so I wrote this up.
Oops. Can find documentation at: http://www.smethers.net/~jason/FreeBSD/doc/kernel.kobj.doc http://www.smethers.net/~jason/FreeBSD/doc/kernel.kobj.rtf http://www.smethers.net/~jason/FreeBSD/doc/kernel.kobj.txt - Jason
Responsible Changed From-To: freebsd-doc->murray I'll mark this up and add to it this week.
State Changed From-To: open->closed Your content has been imported into the Developer's Handbook. I'm sorry this took so long for me to get to. All of our documentation is authored in DocBook SGML, and from there we convert it to HTML, PostScript, PDF, and many other formats automatically. DocBook really isn't any more difficult to learn than HTML and it would be a huge help if you submit future documentation in DocBook. Even if you can't though, submissions are greatly appreciated! http://www.FreeBSD.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/fdp-primer/ Thanks! - Murray
