Description John Hermes 2002-03-07 22:50:01 UTC
bison 1.33 executable (alpha platform) from ports/devel/bison - hangs, using more and more CPU time on clean install of 4.5-STABLE.

Fix:

Workaround - Install bison 1.30 package from 4.5-RELEASE CD
How-To-Repeat: Install FreeBSD 4.5-RELEASE, cvsup to STABLE, and make/install bison 1.33 from ports.

bison -V <---- should hang looping, eating lots of CPU

bison requires the included libintl, which needs GNU iconv.
I have fixed the port for now, until we upgrade our libintl port.
