*** Please do not assign PR to maintainer.
*** Maintainer has several outstanding PRs and does not
*** respond to email.

The devel/SN port should be upgraded to version 5.0 from
version 4.5.2.  Version 5.0 has been available for a year
and is the recommended version at this time.

The maintainer does not appear to actively look after
this port anymore.  I would be happy to take over as
maintainer.

This PR also addresses the "port marked as broken" problem
report in PR 36341.

Fix: The tar ball below contains a replacement for the port.

I am turning over to maintainer (contrary to submitter's request) 
to make sure he has a fair chance to notice it.  If he does not 
respond after at least four weeks, please let me know and I will 
look into updating the port without the maintainer's review.
